Co-Founder and CEO

Dr. Hermann Tribukait is the Co-Founder and CEO of Atinary Technologies. Atinary is a pioneer in Self-Driving Labs with offices in Palo Alto, Boston, and Lausanne. Atinary offers advanced machine-learning platforms that accelerate R&D and materials discovery by augmenting scientists with AI and robotics.

Prior to launching Atinary, Dr. Tribukait co-authored and led the Clean Energy Materials Innovation Challenge under the global Mission Innovation initiative from 2016 to 2019. In 2017, he co-authored the Materials Acceleration Platform Report, a seminal publication on accelerated materials discovery with AI, robotics, and cloud computing. Dr. Tribukait has designed and co-led multiple large-scale innovation and R&D initiatives across North America and Europe, including major public–private partnerships. He is an Affiliate of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, a Founding Member of the World Alliance for Efficient Solutions under the Solar Impulse Foundation, and a Member of the MIT Technology Review Global Panel.
