Dr. Edlyn Wu earned her PhD in Biochemistry from McGill University in Canada, investigating the mechanisms for how small RNA molecules interfere with protein synthesis. She then moved to Europe for her postdoctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden, Germany, before moving with the lab to the Université de Lausanne in Switzerland.
Throughout her academic career, Edlyn has actively engaged in scientific communication initiatives, working to make complex scientific concepts and research stories accessible to broader audiences. Eager to expand her impact beyond traditional bench research, she transitioned to industry by joining Atinary Technologies. In her role in business development, marketing, and communications, she draws on her deep understanding of the challenges scientists face at the bench to bridge the gap between researchers and cutting-edge digital technologies that support and enable scientific innovation.
